My personal interests are sports, in particular netball. If I were elected to the Youth Council I would like to encourage more sports for young people with disabilities
Charlotte Kilroy Age: 15
Hi I'm charlotte and my personal interests are music, performing in a band and taking part in activities at my Youth Centre. I believe that every person of different race, size, religion and background should be treated equally. If I were elected onto the Youth Council I would try to promote equality in schools and I would promote the cannon street youth centre, as I don't think enough young people know about how good it is. So please vote for me ?
Paul Renton Age: 15
Hi I'm Paul and my personal interest are rock Climbing, Free running and Mountain Biking. I believe that the Youth service is a very good idea and my experiences have been really good so I would like to share my experiences with others. If I were elected onto the Youth Council I would like to encourage more youth centres to open more often and I would like to see some new youth centres in the town.

Hi, my personal interests are wrestling and I enjoy watching and playing games. If I were voted onto the Youth Council I would try to stop racism and stereotyping. I would like to get the best out of education and would like to help young people to enjoy school. I would try to get Skate parks saved and I would like to refurbish Classrooms and upgrade school uniforms.
Milly Atkinson Age: 16
I enjoy attending my local Youth Centre and joining in the best I can. I believe that young people should be heard and have a personal opinion of today's society. If elected I would like to make sure that I can put across the young peoples views as best I can and make sure young people are not stereotyped badly. I want to show people that not all youth s are bad, we can be sensible and caring to the community. I will try the best I can to help youths with whatever they need.
Ben Wrigley Age: 17
My interests are going to my local youth centre to socialise with my friends. I am 17 now so I can go to my local pub to play snooker but when I was younger there was nowhere to go where we could play and I am not interested in being bored. I believe that every young person should have a voice, not be ignored. I believe older people should know how it feels to be young again. If I were elected I would like to be the voice of young people, finding out their ideas and what they would like. I would use these ideas and make a change so young people have a better time.

I believe young people should not be judged because of what other young people do and we should all be treated and individuals. If I were elected I would put a suggestion box in my local school so I could analyse other peoples thoughts and try to get them what they want.
