Joshua Smith Age: 14
I am very interested in sports and I believe in getting people involved in sport because obesity is an issue. If elected I would like to help inactive children and minimise obesity.
Paige Molden Age: 14
I like sports and I play basketball in my spare time and during the week I go to my local Youth Centre. I am training to be a senior member and take part in planning and working on events put on in the centre. I am Confident and I like to get my point across and will help others to do the same. If elected I would like to be part of the Youth Council and I would take young peoples views in and do my best to help. I think young people should have more say in what goes on in Oldham. I want to make a difference. I want to be a voice

I love music, dance and performing arts. I get on well with others. I like to express the opinions of other young people who are not as confident as myself. If I was elected I would like to be the voice of young people within Failsworth and express their views and opinions. I would be confidant and a good person to rely on; therefore I think I would be a good youth council member

I like going to the Gym, playing football and most sports. I like meeting new people and making new friends. I am approachable and Stand up for what I believe in and I would help others do the same. If elected I would like to be the voice of Young people from Failsworth and Oldham. I would express the views and opinions of the young people of Failsworth. I would do this in a confident manner. I hope I would be a good Youth Council member.

My interests are fishing and sports. I am very confident talking to people of any age about problems and issues and I like to help if I can. People find it easy to talk to me. I like to be involved in new things and have helped with events at the Youth centre. If elected I would like to be the voice of Young people in Failsworth. I am reliable and committed to something I start. I think I would be a good Youth Councillor and I would act on behalf of the young people I represent.
