Sadaf Ali Age: 14
I am personally interested in Sing, dancing and sports. If I was elected I would like to help put on events for young people and I would like to help the community.
Noreen Age: 14
I believe that there should be more facilities for young Children. My ideas will help keep young people away from crime and have fun in their own area. We want our own area to look the best. If elected I would like to help people out and the most important thing is communication which will help people to share their ideas and thoughts. I am caring and friendly and would love to help people and the community. I personally think that Glodwick needs improving more than other areas of Oldham and I can make a difference
Tahmina Iqbal Age: 15
I would like to support Oldham and Make changes to Young communities. I would like to gain confidence and I am good at communicating and I enjoy drama. If I was elected I would do is change young peoples attitudes towards different people and I would get them to join Youth Centres. I would like to help communities get together and I would like Oldham to be one of the most respected areas.
Junaid Auin Age: 15
I am a confident person and I have good leadership skills. I am very outspoken and I am a prefect at school. If elected I would fulfil all young peoples dreams. I am passionate about the environment and I would like to see Oldham a cleaner place.
Mohammed Ashfaq Age: 16
I am interested in sports and helping the community. I have volunteered in my local community i.e. going on trips and residentials. If elected I would want to improve facilities for young people in Oldham. I would like to see a cinema in Oldham, extend facilities in Youth Centres and Have longer opening hours.
Usman Iqbal Age: 16
I am a passionate person who has been in the Youth council last year. I have experience so I know the ropes and how things work. I am always thinking of others and I am a trusted person who knows the main issues in Oldham. If elected it would be great as I already know some of the issues and I can take some action against them. I would love to continue from where I left off last year and hopefully make the area more enjoyable

Chris Morrow Age: 15
I believe that oldham has quite a lot of potential but it is lacking due to the main council, which causes boredom for children and the rise in crime. I have been involved with the fire service for work experience and I have communication experience. If I was elected I would try to get free bus fair for young people still in school, more sport and leisure places with a multiple choice of options and admission will be at a low price and also that gym memberships will be half for under 16's. I will listen to all of Oldham's young people's views and will bring them forward at meetings and also a change in the oldham Police system.
